gingerbread cookies

How to make some really yummy gingerbread cookies ....

INGREDIENTS:
★ 110g butter
★ 1 cup brown sugar

★ 1/4 cup golden syrup

★ 1/4 cup honey

★ 3 cups plain flour

★ 2 teaspoons ground ginger
★ 1 teaspoon baking soda

HOW TO:
1. Combine the butter and brown sugar using an electric mixer.
2. Add the golden syrup and honey

3. Mix in the plain flour, ground ginger and baking soda.

4. Using your hands make it into a dough (if it is too dry add more golden syrup, if it is too wet add a little more flour).

5. Put in the fridge for 10 minutes

6. Preheat oven then roll mixture out until about 1/2 cm thick and cut out shapes using floured cookies cutters (so the mixture doesn't stick to the cookies cutters).

7. Put in the oven for 8 minutes or until lightly golden.

spring/summer look

image

For me it is very hard to wear something that is not black, white or grey and most of my outfits are all black, like this one.

This cami is stunning and can be paired with so many things for spring and summer and in autumn and winter it can be layered.

These shorts are very pretty and plain black shorts are a staple for this time of year.

Living in Australia means it is very hot and going outside without a hat is a no no, this one has a very broad brim and is just gorgeous.

Backpacks are great for those hot summer days when you need that litre bottle of water as well as every other thing that goes in a normal bag (lip balm, wallet, the kitchen sink).

These shoes are trending, they just finish off a look and can be worn with almost anything.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent - Priceline
I didn't realise how good this was until I tried it, it keeps your skin matte for a very long time while not change your foundation colour.

Garnier ‘Shine Be Gone’ Moisture Match Moisturiser - Kmart
I've mentioned this before and I am mentioning it again because it is one of the best moisturisers I have tried, the lovely smell, the way it makes your skin feel and how it mattifies (is that even a word?) your skin.

Rimmel BB Cream in Light - Priceline
I have been using this for a long time and I really like it. It is very light but gives good coverage, better than any other BB Cream I've tried. All while moisturising and providing some sun protection.
